The Invisible Game: Mindset of a Winning Team (eSports & Competitive Gaming, Dota 2, League of Legends, CS:GO) (English Edition) Reviews
Sehr schön geschriebenes Buch. Leider nur auf englisch, was ich sehr schade finde. Trotzdem gibts keinen Stern Abzug, da das Buch nichts für die fehlende Übersetzung kann :D
I think the starting quote tells a lot about this book:"I believe that gaming is not about defeating our opponents; rather it's discovering the depth of our internal greatness."It is really interesting concept to introduce more in an eSports book than just “How to be a better player?” or “avoid cancer players”. The author put a lot of theories and concepts in the book with the “intent” to develop the personality of the young reader. The result is an easy to read, professional non-fiction book.
I am a coach of a professional LoL team and I was looking for resources to improve my team’s mindset. I bought this book and I was a little bit sceptic at first glance, but this book has a unique style, you won’t find common psychology clichés in it. Overall, I liked that this book has something to say and it was very useful from player’s perspective. Recommended.
Good insight into the professional player’s mindset - I have found several findings in the book very useful. Not every of my teammates are open for such a read, but it helped me to switch thinking. Before reading this book, I thought that professional gamers are just guys practicing more, but the truth is, they see the game and teamplay completely different.
I loved this book and all the insight it has given me on my journey
This book has some very valuable findings presented in easy to understand style. This book is written for the millennials, fresh style, using language from gamer’s world and gives some traditional stories for the full picture.
